The proper protocol for collecting a viable sample for TruAge™ is as follows: Wash hands, dry completely, and wipe down fingertips with the alcohol wipe provided. Hold the lancet firmly against fingertip and press the release button. Wipe the first droplet of blood away with the gauze pad. Place your finger against the taller side of the collection tube and massage the fingertip to increase blood flow. Fill the EDTA tube to the second line marked with a 250 mark. Once the sample is collected, apply the bandage to your finger. Place the cap on top of t
